settings are directed at and absorbed by the hair follicles, disabling
the growth of the follicles, resulting in quick, safe, and effective
Should I be treated with an IPL?
A common system that is misused to treat unwanted hair is an IPL
system. IPL is a light source in which its primary use should be for
the treatments of photo damage and acne.
IPL's should never be used for hair
removal because patients have a much higher risk of medical

What happens to the skin after the laser hair removal treatment?
Some patients may experience a slight reddening. The redness usually
subsides within a few minutes to a few hours and returns to normal. You
are able to re-apply your make-up, return to work, and continue with your normal daily activities immediately following treatment.
How many Laser treatments will I need?
It has been our experience
that most of our patients are able to discontinue treatments, knowing
they may need an occasional touch up, after an average of 3-6 treatments.
Keep in mind some individuals will
require fewer treatments and some will require more treatments depending
on individual hair growth cycles.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
If patients do see re-growth it is usually due to hormones, because hormones dictate hair growth. Certain medications may also cause re-growth of hair.
A medical history will be taken during your free consultation
What if I have red, grey, or blonde hair?
Since the laser is attracted to the pigment in the hair follicle, these
hair colors may not have enough pigment to be successfully treated with
the laser. If this applies to you, we may want to try a test spot to see
if your hair responds to the laser.
